7venth Sun Brewing Up a Storm of Unique Beers in West Central Florida

February 2, 2014

7venth Sun (Dunedin, FL), a small craft brewer, is producing some of the most interesting and flavor-forward craft beers in the country. The brewery is located about 25 miles West of Tampa, in the small beach town of Dunedin, and is well worth the trip if you’re in the area.

The brewery first opened its doors about two years ago, in January of 2012, with former brewers from Sweetwater Brewing and Cigar City. The brewery focuses on producing unique Belgian-Style beers, and Wood-Aged Sour ales. Production is done with a small 4.5 barrel brewing system at 1012 Broadway Street. There is a small storefront, parking, and outdoor seating for visitors.

On any given day, you may get the opportunity to taste some unique and flavorful beers, including a Key-Lime flavored IPA, Clementine flavored Saison, 100% Brett Fermented Wit, Pear flavored Berliner Weisse, or a session-style IPA brewed with Nelson Sauvin and Citra hops.

Check out their website here, for the latest beers on tap. The brewery is open for pint and growler sales, Tuesday through Sunday.
