Amarillo hops are very popular in craft beer due to their exceptional flavoring and aroma characteristics. They also work as a mid-range contributor to bitterness, with a typical alpha acid range of 7-9%. Flavors and aromas produced from Amarillo hops include; tangerine, orange citrus, tropical fruit, and grapefruit.
