Cigar City To Make Big Push Serving Nitro Beers at Draft Accounts in Florida
August 15, 2013
Cigar City Brewing (Tampa, FL) will release new Nitro served draft beers to accounts, starting in September, and rotate through new beers each month. The brewery has been running two popular Nitro taps in their tasting room, and decided that this was something they wanted to push out into the market for their customers to enjoy locally.
Nitrogen served beers pour with very fine bubbles, a thick head, and have a creamy mouthfeel; creating new flavor perceptions from standard CO2 carbonated beers. The method of pouring beer through Nitrogen originated with the widely popular Guinness Draft, Irish Dry Stout.
Look for the following Nitro poured beers on draft throughout Florida:
January: Cafe Con Leche Sweet Stout
February-March: Patio Tools Dry Irish Stout
April: Vanilla Maduro Brown Ale
May: Hornswoggled Red Ale
June: Horchata Ale
July: Minaret ESB
August: Vanilla Maduro
September: Minaret ESB
October: Good Gourd Imperial Pumpkin Ale
November: Puppy’s Breath Robust Porter
December: Minaret ESB
