A beer cocktail twist on a classic Bloody Mary. Spruced up with the addition of Smoked Porter beer and substituting tequila for vodka.
3 oz. Smoked Porter (local craft brewed or Alaskan, Stone)
1 oz. anejo tequila
3 oz. tomato juice
1/2 oz. agave nectar
1/2 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
pinch celery salt
pinch of smoked black pepper (or fresh ground)
1/2 tsp worcestershire
1/2 tsp horseradish
2 slices fresh jalapeno
Muddle the jalapeno slice and agave nectar in a shaker glass.
Add tequila, tomato juice, lime juice, celery salt, black pepper,worcestershire, horseradish and ice. Shake vigourously.
Strain into a chilled pint glass filled with ice.
Top off with the smoked porter.
Garnish with a celery stick and green olives.
