Alaskan Brewing Pilot Series Baltic Porter Review

Pours a deep mahogany color with a thick, creamy off-white head.  Aromas of toasted malt, black cherry, vanilla, and oak.

Full-bodied with a rich malty profile.  Flavor notes of toffee, dark cherry, light roasted malt, black licorice, and vanilla.  Finish is clean and malty.

A big, bold, hearty ale from Alaskan.

Hops: European and Pacific Northwest

Malts: 2-row, Specialty malts

Brewed with dark black cherries, whole vanilla beans, and aged on toasted French oak.

Limited pilot series release in bottles.
