Alaskan Brewing Pilot Series Troppelbock Review

Brewed as an Imperial Dopplebock Ale Aged on oak chips.

Pours a clear amber color with a thick, frothy off-white head.  Big note of sweet toasted caramel malt, with a hint of vanilla.  Full-bodied with flavors of sweet malt, pecan pie, dark fruit, and vanilla

Hops: German and American hops

Malts: 2-row, Specialty toasted malts

Aged on French oak.

Limited pilot series release in bottles.
