AleSmith Bourbon Barrel-Aged Old Numbskull Barleywine Review

Pours a deep mahogany color. Notes of caramel, vanilla, and toasted malts. Smooth and rich with balanced hop flavors and toasted, sweet malt. Full-bodied.

Aged for one year in bourbon barrels.

An incredibly complex and flavorful beer.

Drinks nicely when released, after the long aging, but also cellars well.

    Thick and malty with complex woody and bourbon notes. Smooth texture with some mild alcohol warming in the finish.
