AleSmith Barrel-Aged Speedway Stout

Pours an opaque black color.  Notes of roasted malt, vanilla, chocolate, and burnt wood. Full-body with rich, dark malt flavors.  Some caramel and toffee flavors.

Aged for one year in bourbon barrels.

Complex and flavorful beer.

Drinks nicely when released, after the long aging, but also cellars well for added flavor complexity.

Limited availability.

Very complex flavors from aging in barrels.

    Highly recommended.
