Review Details

Avery Brewing Samael’s Oak-Aged Ale Review  

Pours a deep copper color, with toffee, vanilla, and caramel flavors.  Noticeable alcohol presence at 15%+.  Malt sweetness comes through, with some mild bitterness.

Hops: Columbus, Sterling
Malt: Two-row barley, Simpson Caramel 150, Victory, Munich, Special Roast

Turbinado sugar is used in the brewing process.  Aged in Oak.

Pair with bread pudding or creme brulee.

Available in 12oz single bottles in April.
