Cascade Brewing Blueberry Ale Review

Brewed in the style of an American Barrel-Aged Sour Beer, aged in oak with blueberries.

Pours a hazy light purples color. Aromas of tart fruit, earthiness, and oak. Pleasant, refined sourness with a tart finish.  Medium-light in body and extremely refreshing.

Complex and flavorful. Brewed with wheat and malted barley.

Aged in oak barrels for 12 months with fresh blueberries.  Bottle conditioned.

Limited availability.

Cascade is a master artisan of sour beers.

Great notes of blueberry and refined sour flavors. Some oak and earthy yeast notes.

    Highly recommended.
