Crazy Mountain Brewing Lava Lake Wit Review

Pours a pale yellow color. Aromas of sweet spice, citrus, lemon, and wheat. Light-bodied, crisp, and refreshing.

The beer has a very distinctive flavor, like chamomile iced tea.

Hops: Kent Goldings, Saaz

Malt: 2-row, Un-malted Wheat, Rolled Oats

Brewed with chamomile, coriander, grains of paradise, and sweet orange peel.

Available year round in cans.

These guys are a bit hit or miss. Their IPA is very good, but the flavoring of this Wit is unappealing. Too much spice overpowers the beer.

Found this in cans at the beer store. Interesting touch with the chamomile. Overall nice citrus and crisp wheat.

    Convenient in cans.

    Crisp, spicy, and wheaty.

    Light bodied and smooth.
