Crooked Stave Wild Wild Brett Rouge

Brewed in the style of an ale, 100% fermented with Brettanomyces yeast. Flavored with hawthorn berry, rosehips, and whole hibiscus flowers.

Pours a light red color with a thin frothy head. Floral and tropical fruit aromas. Medium-light bodied with a tart fruit and herbal flavors. Finishes dry and tart.

Fermented with wild yeast.

Limited release in bottles and on draft.

Would have never expected to rate a beer brewed with flowers this high, but the complexity of the beer was amazing. Herbal and earthy with funky Brett notes. Crisp and dry finish.
