Deep Ellum Double Brown Stout Review

The name says stout, but the beer is brewed in the Baltic Porter style.

Pours an opaque black color. Aromas of dark malt, chocolate and oats. Rich and chocolaty, with a creamy mouthfeel. Crisp clean finish from fermentation with a lager yeast.

Hops: US Goldings, Mt. Hood, US Northern Brewer, Summit

Malts: Pale, Light Munich, Dark Munich, Brown, Crystal, Extra Dark Crystal, Rye, Oats, De-husked Chocolate

Also brewed with a small amount of Blackstrap Molasses.

Fermented with California Lager yeast.

Available year round.
