Dogfish Head Burton Baton Barrel-Aged Imperial IPA Review

Pours a pale orange color.  Aromas of oak, vanilla, citrus, and brandied fruitcake.  Full-bodied with a solid hop presence and flavor profile.  Some very light oak flavors and toasted malt also come through.

Aged in oak tanks.

Available year-round in bottles and on draft.

Some interesting notes of oak. Not too bitter. Slightly warming from the high alcohol content.

    On tap.

Deep copper with a thin creamy white head. Notes of peach, citrus, and toasted malt.

Very smooth bitterness with a hint of oaky wood in the finish.
