Hill Farmstead Fear & Trembling Bourbon Barrel-Aged Smoked Baltic Porter

Aged in oak bourbon barrels.

Pours black with a creamy tan head. Notes of smoky wood, oak, vanilla and bourbon. Full bodied with a rich, malty dark malt backbone and moderate bitterness level. Smooth and clean finish with some lingering smoke and bourbon.

Brewed with maple wood smoked malt.

Limited release.

Was lucky to get a sample of this. Big and smoky with a clean roasty finish. Complex notes of oak, vanilla, and bourbon. A great beer.
