Hill Farmstead Jim

Brewed in the the style of a Barrel-Aged Black IPA.

Pours almost black with ruby highlights and a creamy tan head. Notes of piney hops, oak, and citrus. Medium-bodied with a roasty malt profile and flavors of piney hops. High in hop bitterness.

Hops: Columbus, Centennial, Simcoe

Malts: Pale 2-row, Caramel, Roasted Barley

Barrel-aged in French Oak Pinot Noir barrels for 4 months.

Dry-hopped with Simcoe hops.

Very Limited release.

Wow. First time seeing a barrel aged black IPA. Wish I could have landed some. Interested in seeing what people thought of it.
