Jester King Montmorency vs Balaton

Barrel-Aged Sour Cherry Ale

Crisp and sour ale with notes of tart cherry, mild sweet malt, oak, light vanilla, and dark fruit. Dry, refreshing finish with some lingering tartness.

Hops: Organic Goldings

Malts: Pilsner, Munich, Pale 2-row, Wheat Malt, CaraRed, Crystal, Melanoidin Malt, Roasted Barley

Fermented with Farmhouse Ale Yeast, Lactobacillus, Brettanomyces, and Wild Texas Hill Country yeast.

Aged with sour Montmorency and Balaton cherries from Michigan.

Limited availability in bottles and on draft. Naturally bottle conditioned with live yeast.
