De Struise¬†Pannepeut Old Monk’s Ale

Strong Belgian Dark Ale

Pours a deep brown-red color with a thick frothy tan head. Aromas of caramel, spice, and dark fruit. Medium-bodied with a rich chocolaty mouthfeel. Flavors of fig, plum, bready malt, and spicy Belgian yeast. Smooth finish with moderate hop bitterness.

Hops: Bramling Cross, Hallertauer Mittelfreuh

Malts: Pilsner, Special B, Carafa, Cane Sugar

Spiced with sweet orange peel, cinnamon, coriander, massis banda, thyme, and vanilla.

Bottle conditioned with live yeast.
