Rogue Voodoo Bacon Maple Ale Review

In collaboration with Voodoo Doughnut, Rogue produces this interesting brown ale, brewed with applewood-smoked bacon and maple syrup.

Pours pale brown with some smoky bacon and doughnut aromas.

Malts used include; Briess Cherrywood Smoked Malt, Weyerman Beechwood Smoked Malt, House Smoked Hickory Malt, Pale 2-row, Crystal, and Munich

Hops; Perle and Sterling.

Pairs well with doughnuts and pork dishes.

Limited availability in bottles.

An interesting ale for adventurous drinkers.
