Russian River Brewing Consecration Sour Dark Ale Review

A sour dark ale aged in Cabernet Sauvignon Barrels with Currants.

Pours a deep red color with a rocky white head.   Notes of black currant, red wine, and oak.  Flavors of chocolate, tobacco, currants and a touch of Cabernet.  Full bodied.

Aged in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels for 4-8 months with black currants, and fermented with lactobacillus and brettanomyces yeasts.

Limited availability in bottles and on draft.
