Solstice d’été Sour Raspberry Wheat Ale Review

A sour beer inspired by the German Berliner Weisse style.

Pours a deep pink color. Light-bodied, acidic, and refreshing. Raspberry aroma and flavors comes through nicely.

The brewing process includes a natural souring period where unboiled wort (sweet malt liquid) is allowed to sour.

Fresh, whole raspberries are added during the fermentation process.

Limited availability, brewed once a year, and released in June.

Tart and refreshing with aroma and flavor of fresh raspberries.

Light body with some notes of wheat malt.
