Southern Tier Iniquity Imperial Black Ale Review

Brewed in the style of an Imperial Black IPA

Pours a black color with deep mahogany highlights, and a rich, creamy tan head.  Aromas of dark fruit, cocoa, roasted malt, and piney hops.  Full-bodied flavors of bittersweet chocolate, piney hops, and toasted malts.

Hops: Chinook, Cascade, Centennial

Malts: 2-row, De-bittered Black Malt

Dry-hopped with Cascade and Centennial hops.

Smooth, and surprisingly easy to drink at 9% abv.  An impressive beer.

Fantastic. Smooth and hoppy, with a touch of dark malt flavor.
