Surly Brewing Hell German Style Munich Helles Review

A light malty German Style beer, a style not brewed enough in the U.S. craft beer market.

Pours a bright yellow color. Aromas of sweet malt and fresh baked bread. Light-bodied with a crisp and clean malt flavor. Very light hints of honey.  Low in alcohol and easy to drink.  Very restrained usage of hops in this style.

Hops: Sterling

Malts: Pilsner, Carahell

Fermented with German lager yeast.

Available year round in cans and on draft.

Great German beer style which is crisp with mild sweetness and moderate hoppiness. Very easy to drink and a nice beer for an off IPA day.
