The Bruery Black Tuesday Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout Review

Pours a midnight black color.  Aromas of dark malt, rich caramel, vanilla, earthy wood, and black licorice.  Full-bodied with a thick velvety mouthfeel.  Smooth warming alcohol finish with hints of bourbon and vanilla.

Incredibly complex and a great beer style to enjoy.

Barrel-aged in bourbon casks for more than 12 months.

Limited October release in bottles at the brewery.

An amazingly rich and complex beer. Wish I had a cellar full to taste the developing flavors every year. A true piece of craft brewing artistry.

A huge stout. Rich and malty with flavors of dark chocolate, vanilla, oak, and alcohol. Smooth and creamy finish with some warming.
