The Bruery Hottenroth Berliner Weisse Review

Pours a light golden yellow color. Crisp and tart with nice sourness. Very light-bodied and refreshing. No hop character, as appropriate for the style.

A great example of a hard to find German Style Berliner Weisse beer.

Undergoes a lactobacillus fermentation to add sourness and complexity.

Available year round in bottles.

Very light and refreshing with an earthy sourness that begs you to drink more. Finishes with crisp wheat and tartness.

Probably my favorite Berliner. Nice and sour with a crisp wheat flavor. Perfect in the summer.
