The Bruery Tart of Darkness Sour Stout Review

Pours a midnight black color. Aromas of dark malt. Great sourness combined with roasty malt flavor.

Incredibly complex and a great beer style to enjoy.

Barrel-aged with a lactobacillus fermentation to add sourness and complexity.

Limited summer release in bottles.

  1. Avatar of hop

Very refreshing and easy to drink for an 8% abv beer. The smooth dark malts meld together wonderfully with the oak and sour flavor.

  2. Avatar of IPAzz

Dark caramel and tart aromas upfront. Smooth and very sour flavors. Fantastic beer. Wish it was a year round offering.
