The Commons Brewery Berliner Weisse Review

Brewed in the style of a Berlin Wheat Beer, and fermented with lactobacillus to add tart and sour flavors.

Pours a pale yellow color. Notes of tartness, citrus, and wheat malt. Light bodied with a very pleasing sourness. Finishes tart and dry.

A great beer style which is not brewed as often as it should be.

Available seasonally in the Summer on draft.

Very light and refreshing. Well worth hunting down if you are a sour beer lover. One of the better summer seasonals on tap in Portland.
