The Lost Abbey Lost and Found Abbey Ale Review

Brewed in the style of a Belgian Dubbel.

Pours a deep garnet color with a creamy tan head.  Aromas dark fruit, caramel, and dark chocolate.  Medium-bodied with flavors of sweet malt.  Finishes dry with some nutty notes.

Hops: German Magnum, German Tettnang

Malts: 2-Row, Wheat, Medium English Crystal, Dark English Crystal, Special B, Chocolate Malt

Brewed with raisin puree and dextrose.

Fermented with a Belgian Ale yeast.

Available year round in bottles.

    Classic Abbey Dubbel with a rich malty body and flavors of fig, raisins, and sweet caramel. Some nutty and toasted malt notes. Finishes with some malt sweetness.
