Weyerbacher Old Heathen Imperial Stout Review

Brewed in the style of a Russian Imperial Stout.

Pours black with a creamy tan head. Aromas of roasted malts, dark fruit, and espresso. Full-bodied with robust roasty flavors, and notes of chocolate and coffee. Moderate hop bitterness.

Brewed with seven types of malt. An approachable Imperial Stout with a moderate alcohol level for the style.

Available year round.

A solid Imperial Stout, but not as bold as many other versions. Good option though when you want something flavorful but not too strong.

Some of their barrel aged beers are great.
