Weyerbacher White Sun Wit Review

Brewed in the style of a Belgian Wit.

Pours a hazy yellow-orange color with a frothy white head. Notes of light spice, and orange citrus. Light-bodied with crisp flavors of wheat and a mild spiciness. Some tartness in the finish. Refreshing. Low in hop bitterness.

Brewed with coriander, orange peel, grains of paradise, and star anise.

Limited release April-July.

Slightly over spiced for the style, but still refreshing on a hot day. Some licorice notes seem more appropriate for a darker ale.
