Crooked Stave and Upslope Brewing (Denver and Boulder, CO), announced an upcoming collaboration on wild Brett fermented beers, to be called Ferus Fluxus. Brett, or Brettanomyces, consists of several different strains of wild yeast which add unique character to beers. The yeast is known for slow fermentation and longer aging periods are commonly used.

More details on the first beer release will be out over the next few weeks. Crooked Stave will continue the series by collaborating with other craft breweries around the country.
