Brewed this yesterday. Color was more of a dark brown than black while mashing so I added 4oz. of midnight wheat with 20 min left to go. The black malt I bought from my LHBS is a little suspect as the grains were lighter than black malt i had left over. Used the midnight wheat since it should not add any additional roast flavor. Fermenting now on 2 packs of US-05. I will post another comment in about 3 weeks.
