Profile: HomeBrew recipe for a Belgian Farmhouse Saison, similar to Pretty Things Jack D’Or. Medium-bodied with aromas of spice, citrus, and Belgian yeast. Crisp and refreshing finish.
10 lbs 2-Row Pale Malt
1 lb White Wheat Malt
12 oz. Vienna Malt
12 oz. Rye Malt
12 oz. Flaked Oats
1 oz. Nugget 13%a, 60 minutes
1/2 oz Columbus 15%a, 20 minutes
1/2 oz. Palisade 10%a, 15 minutes
1/2 oz. Styrian Golding 5%a, at flameout
Mash all grains for 1 hour at 150 degrees.
Sparge at 170 degrees.
One hour boil with hop regimen above.
Ferment warm at 70F.
