All Grain HomeBrew Recipe for an Unfiltered Rye Beer
Profile: HomeBrew recipe for an unfiltered Red Rye Beer. Similar to a German Roggenbier, but this recipe uses a Belgian Wit yeast which which avoids banana and clove notes. Instead, you get more citrus and a touch of tartness. The addition of Citra hops near the end of the boil provide flavors of passion fruit and mango. Beer should come out a hazy red-mahogany color, with some vibrant flavors.
