Profile: HomeBrew recipe for a Belgian Farmhouse Saison, similar to Saison Dupont. Medium-bodied and effervescent with earthy, fruity, and mild spice flavors. Brewed with the Saison Dupont yeast strain.
11 lbs Pilsner 2-row
1 1/2 lbs Belgian Pale 2-Row Malt
6 oz. Flaked Oats
4 oz. Acidulated Malt
1 oz. East Kent Goldings 5%a, 60 minutes
1 oz. East Kent Goldings 5%a, 30 minutes
1/2 oz. Styrian Goldings 5%a, at 5 minutes
1/2 oz. East Kent Goldings 5%a, at 5 minutes
Mash all grains for 1 hour at 150 degrees.
Sparge at 170 degrees.
One hour boil with hop regimen above.
Ferment warm at 70F.
