All Grain American Wheat Beer Recipe
Profile: HomeBrew recipe for a light-bodied American Wheat Beer, similar to Tallgrass Halcyon. Crisp and refreshing with flavors or tropical fruit and fresh wheat.
6 lbs Pale 2-Row
4 lbs White Wheat Malt
12 oz. Light Munich
1/4 oz. Nugget 13%a, 60 minutes
1/2 oz. Citra 11%a, 15 minutes
Yeast: Wyeast 1010 American Wheat
Other: 1 lb Rice Hulls (to help with sticky wheat mash)
Mash all grains with rice hulls mixed in, for 1 hour at 150 degrees.
Sparge at 170 degrees.
One hour boil with hop regimen above.
Ferment at 63-68 degrees for 5-7 days.
