All Grain Belgian IPA HomeBrew Recipe

Profile: HomeBrew recipe for a Belgian IPA similar to Three Floyds Shark Pants. Bold hoppy aromas and flavors of citrus, tropical fruit, and pine. Medium-bodied with resiny hop flavors and intense bitterness. Brewed with a massive amount of hops which could cause brewing issues on some systems. Hop bitterness pushes the extreme limit of what can be absorbed into the boiling wort, at a theoretical 260 IBUs.

1 lb Crystal 70

8 oz. Flaked Oats

Hops (pellets):

4 oz. Magmun 14%a, 90 minutes

1 oz. Amarillo 8%a, 40 minutes

1 oz Citra 11%a, 30 minutes

1 oz. Simcoe 13%, 20 minutes

YeastWyeast 5522 Belgian Ardennes or White Labs WLP550 Belgian Ale
