All Grain IPA Recipe

Profile: HomeBrew recipe for an IPA similar to Tired Hands Pineal IPA. Aromas and flavors of tropical fruit, pineapple, mango, and tangerine. Dry finish with medium hop bitterness.



10 lbs Pale 2-row

12 oz. Flaked Oats


1/2 oz. Simcoe 12%a, 60 minutes

1/2 oz. Mosaic 12%a, 15 minutes

1 oz. Amarillo 8%a, 15 minutes

1 oz. Mosaic 12%a, 10 minutes

1/2 oz. Simcoe 12%a, 5 minutes

Yeast: American Ale

Dry-Hop: 1/2 oz. Mosaic, 1/2 oz. Amarillo


Mash all grains for 1 hour at 150-152 degrees.

Sparge at 170 degrees.

One hour boil with hop regimen above.

Ferment at 63-68 degrees.

Rack to keg or secondary and for 4-5 weeks. Add dry hops for 7 days before kegging or bottling.

    hola, excelente receta, escribo desde Chile, este fin de semana cocinare la misma receta pero para 100 litros, solo modifique los granos, agregue un pequeño porcentaje de malta caramelo para el color, saludos y luego les cuento como quedo esta maravilla!!!

    I brewed this but modified some things. The biggest addition was motueka hops, during the boil and also dry-hopped. I also upped the amarillo dryhopping. This is hands down the best beer I’ve ever brewed. It’s also my first all-grain, first time kegging, and first attempt at force-carbing. All worked out great, I wish I could upload a picture of this beer.
