All Grain White Stout Recipe

Profile: HomeBrew recipe for a White Stout. Full-bodied with a rich malty profile and creamy texture. Notes of nutty malts and light caramel. Moderate hop bitterness. Final beer color is closer to a hazy gold with white highlights.



11 lbs Maris Otter

1 lb Munich

12 oz. Crystal 40

12 oz. Un-malted Wheat

10 oz. Flaked Oats

10 oz. Flaked Barley


1/2 oz. Columbus 15%a, 60 minutes

1 oz. Ahtanum 6%a, 30 minutes

Yeast: White Labs WLP007 Dry English Ale Yeast


Mash all grains for 1 hour at 154 degrees.

Sparge at 170 degrees.

One hour boil with hop regimen above.

Ferment at 63-68 degrees.

Rack to keg or secondary and age for 5 weeks.
