June craft beer releases are much more than just crisp refreshing lagers and wheat beers. A slew of seasonal Double and Imperial IPAs come out in June from craft brewers, and several other interesting craft beers.

Three Floyds Gorch Fork (5.0%, 25 IBUs) hits shelves in June. A crisp German Style Munich Helles Lager. Light-bodied and refreshing just in time for hot weather. Their highly acclaimed Apocalypse Cow (11%, 100 IBUs) Double IPA also releases this month. Packed with intense floral and citrusy hop flavors and brewed with lactose milk sugar.

Terrapin’s Monk’s Revenge (9.8%, 82 IBUs) a Strong Belgian-Style IPA is out in June. Brewed with six hop types and five malts. A big backbone of malt is offset by high hop bitterness. Fermented with Belgian yeast.

Two Beers Brewing out of Seattle release their summertime Trailhead ISA (4.8%, 48 IBUs), an India Session Ale. Brewed with Columbus and Cascade hops.

The first of two yearly releases for Hopworks Organic Ace of Spade Imperial IPA (9.0%, 100 IBUs) happens in June. The beer is brewed with Organic Amarillo, Cascade, and Centennial hops.

Southern Star Brewing’s Walloon Belgian Style Grissette (5.3%, 24 IBUs) hits shelves in June. The beer could almost be described as a Session-Style Saison, but has it’s own unique characteristics. Brewed with Czech Saaz, Hallertau Mittelfruh, and Styrian Goldings hops.

Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales releases their seasonal Belgian-Style Pale Ale, Luciernaga (6.5%). Barrel-aged in oak with wild yeast, the beer has spicy, earthy, and tart notes.

A fantastic sour wheat beer from Dieu Du Ciel is out in June. Solstice d ‘ete (5.9%) is an annual summer release. Modeled after a Berliner Weisse style, the beer is aged with whole raspberries.

Elysian Brewing’s Oddland Peppercorn Saison (7.0%) is available now through July. A Belgian-Style Farmhouse ale brewed with four types of peppercorns, and Czech Saaz hops.

Tradewinds (8.0%, 25 IBUs) a seasonal Belgian-Style Golden Ale from the Bruery becomes available. The beer is effervescent and refreshing. Brewed with Thai Basil.

Fremont Brewing Summer Ale (5.2%) is out now through September. A single-hopped beer brewed with Amarillo hops. Notes of tangerine and citrus.
