Yeast Review

White Labs WLP029 German Ale / Kolsch Yeast

German Kolsch yeast strain from a small brewery in Cologne, Germany.

Produces clean and crisp beers. Accentuates hop character.

Good for light-bodied beers.

Produces mil sulfur which dissipates with aging.

Works well for Kolsch, Alts, and Cream Ales.
