Yeast Review

Wyeast 1214 Belgian Abbey Yeast

A Belgian Ale strain which is alcohol tolerant and widely used. Works well for a variety of Belgian-Style ales.

Produces vibrant fruity esters and some spicy alcohol notes.

Can be a slow starter.

Attenuates well, creating a dry finish.
